Participants within the climate and forest project

The project is being implemented by NABU In partnership with the regional and local government and the knowledge and support of local and international experts. The project is financed as part oft the International Climate Initiative (ICI) by the German government.

Project Funding

BMU Office

Since 2008, the International Climate Initiative (ICI) of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) has been financing climate projects in developing and newly industrialised countries, as well as countries in transition. The ICI receives funding from emissions trading to support partner countries in the area of climate protection. This new form of climate cooperation complements the existing development cooperation work of the German Government.
