Successful biodiversity campaign in the Kafa Biosphere Reserve
10.01.2016 - In those two recent events, a total of 80 school children explored the forest and traditional home gardens together with ten traditional belief leaders and their teachers. For example in Gida, the traditional leader, Mr. Gebremedihin Shadi, shared his vast knowledge on forests and wetlands with the students and teachers. He also explained about the medicinal plants in his daughter’s garden.
