SYMBIOTIC
Systemic Learning and Mainstreaming of Biodiversity Targets for Innovative Transformation and Behavioural Change
Biodiversity is disappearing at alarming rates, particularly in hotspots of biodiversity throughout Africa and Asia. Despite existing policies and strategies, biodiversity is neither effectively communicated for maximum awareness nor mainstreamed into key sectors such as education and economy.
The project SYMBIOTIC will therefore work for a transformative change with targeted sensitisation and capacity development, leading towards increased appreciation of biodiversity as well as mobilisation of key actors and decision-makers for biodiversity mainstreaming into the economy
Our outreach
- We involve media representatives, educators, political and economic decision-makers, professionals from the environmental sector, private sector representatives and local users / community actors
- Among these, women, youth and marginalised groups will be explicitly empowered
